We will continue weekly guided reading sessions which will include the teaching of comprehension skills. Phonics continues to take place daily at 09.10.
Please continue to read with your child everyday. We check reading logs regularly to give out Red Ted rewards.
In Maths we will be looking at the properties of shapes and using tally charts to record shapes in a familiar environment. We will continue counting up to 100 in ones, twos, fives and tens.
In Literacy we will be looking at the following titles: Major Glad, Major Dizzy and Out and About: A First Book of Poems. We will be concentrating on correctly using punctuation this half term, including full stops, question marks and exclamation marks.
