Welcome to Great Heath Academy
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Great Heath Academy’s website. We hope you enjoy finding out more about the academy. As you navigate around the website you will be able to access newsletters, term dates or find out what the children are currently learning about.
We are a three form entry primary school with a Nursery class, catering for over 550 pupils. We are proud to be part of Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) and work closely with the other academies in this trust. We have an exciting, engaging curriculum with fun, meaningful learning experiences for all children, which are regularly shared with parents and carers. We very much believe that the education of children is a partnership and constantly look for further ways we can work closely with parents and carers to ensure that all children achieve their full potential. Our latest Ofsted inspection (April 2018) rated us as Good in all areas and we are constantly monitoring our work to ensure we maintain this whilst striving to be Outstanding.
Our five values (Growth, Resilience, Enthusiasm, Adaptability and Tolerance) underpin our work and we ensure that all pupils use these to become great citizens both now and in the future. We strongly believe that every child can and will achieve their full potential.
We have fantastic resources including a cooking room, large library and tennis courts, which are all used in lessons and clubs. We welcome visits to the academy so please do contact us if you would like to look round or have any further questions.
